Future Direction¶
Subscrypts Pulse already provides real-time subscription monitoring, push notifications, and multi-wallet support. Looking ahead, the focus is on deeper insights, richer notifications, and tighter integration with the broader Subscrypts ecosystem.
1. Enhanced Analytics & Insights¶
Planned dashboard improvements include:
- Payment history charts — Visual timeline of past payments and upcoming charges
- Spending summaries — Monthly or weekly breakdowns of subscription costs
- Trend indicators — Track changes in your subscription portfolio over time
These features will help subscribers make informed decisions about their subscriptions and budget planning.
2. Richer Notification Types¶
Future notification enhancements include:
- Renewal reminders — Configurable advance warnings before auto-renewal
- Price change alerts — Notifications when USD-denominated plan prices shift significantly due to token price movement
- Payment failure notifications — Alerts when an auto-renewal attempt fails due to insufficient balance
3. Merchant-Side Monitoring¶
While Pulse is currently focused on the subscriber experience, planned merchant features include:
- Plan performance overview — Track active subscriber counts per plan
- Payment event feed — Real-time feed of incoming subscription payments
- Revenue indicators — High-level revenue tracking for merchants
4. Ecosystem Integration¶
Deeper integration with the Subscrypts ecosystem:
- Direct links to management actions — One-tap navigation from Pulse to the Subscrypts dApp for renewing, stopping, or modifying subscriptions
- Cross-platform status — See which platforms (Discord, Telegram) your subscription gates access to
- Shared notification preferences — Coordinate notification settings across Pulse and other ecosystem tools
5. Platform Improvements¶
- Improved offline support — Better caching for full offline access to subscription data
- Widget support — Home screen widgets for quick balance and status checks (where platform APIs allow)
- Accessibility improvements — Enhanced screen reader support and accessibility features
Any such improvements will maintain Pulse's core principles: read-only, custodian-free, privacy-first, and no app store required.
